Fill the Treasure Chest is our most elegant and fantastic fundraising event.

 

This year's event will be held Saturday, November 12, 2011 and is the crown jewel of our annual fundraisers. “Fill The Treasure Chest” is an evening of fine dining, nationally known guest speakers and professional entertainment. Past events have seen banquet rooms transformed into a Far Eastern Paradise, a Wild West Gold Rush and a Caribbean Pirate Adventure.

The theme for this year's magical evening will be Explore Great Futures featuring live stream to the Nautilus exploration vessel anchored in the breathtaking Mediterranean Sea. Our guest speaker, Dr. Katy Croff Bell, Chief Scientist and National Geographic Emerging Explorer will take Treasure Chest guests on a voyage of just how Dr. Bob Ballard's Ocean Exploration Trust project exposes and excites Boys & Girls Clubs kids to a better understanding of geology, archaeology, and marine biology.

The "Fill The Treasure Chest" evening is the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Peoria’s chance to say “thank you” to our faithful donors, volunteers, community leaders and corporations for their devoted service, guidance and dedication. Raising over $80,000 annually for all facets of the Boys & Girls Clubs experience is proof that this is not a night to be missed.
