Families 2000 strengthens families through skills development and parent-child interactions.

This is a program that meets the needs of children with diverse abilities, from birth to three years old, from varied cultural, linguistic, and economic backgrounds. Father as well as mother involvement is encouraged and nurtured through our different classes.

Family needs are met through referrals or home and center–based programs to enhance parent–child interactions and to build on the strengths of each individual family and child. We understand that through empowering the family by enhancing parenting skills, job assistance, computer skills, counseling, home visits, healthy living skills, developmental screening and creative activities, families will be able to manage their everyday activities.
